Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed in TV and film is well known for movies like Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The actress was the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens and a leading role in several television dramas. After her critically acclaimed role in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, as well as the secretary of Adolf Hitler in Downfall. This film received nominations for an Oscar and received critical and commercial popularity. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. Alexandra's work has led her to participate in several significant national and international productions.
